For over twenty years, Sacramento’s GLBT community has joined together in celebration at the annual Pride Festival at Southside Park. Drawing folks from as far away as Chico and Fresno, SacPride has become the Great Central Valley Pride, kicking off a festive pride season. More than 6,000 “out and proud” men, women and children enjoy live entertainment, play volleyball and sample tasty treats in a beautiful park atmosphere. Dance to the driving sounds of our DJs in the Beer Garden, relax with a hot cup of Joe at Butch-N-Nellie’s, or spread a blanket on the lawn under a sunny Sacramento sky and soak it all in! Families will have fun in our Kidzone, while kids of all ages can climb a rock wall, browse through the more than 150 vendors, or enjoy art exhibits, live performers and musicians. Join us at the park and help make Sacramento Pride 2008 the best Pride ever! |  |
